Women’s Fellowship will wind down for the summer months, meeting in June on the following dates:
June 17 The Executive Board meets at 10 AM in the Women’s Fellowship Office. The General Meeting is at 10:30 AM in the Fireside Room. After a brief business meeting, there will be a program presented by Ina Medved with a retrospective on the life and impact of Santa Rosa's most famous citizen...Luther Burbank. She will be assisted by a fellow Burbank volunteer, Adele Yare who has been the docent trainer for the past four years. The luncheon will follow in Fellowship Hall at noon hosted by Circle #2.
June 24 The June 24th meeting will be a picnic at the home of Barbara Whitson beginning at 11:30 AM. Members of Circles 1, 2 & 3 are invited and asked to RSVP to their respective telephone chairmen, to advise whether they will attend and what they wish to contribute....either a salad or dessert. The telephone chair will then report to Barbara (at least two days in advance). Barbara tells us that she will display a small American flag so you can't miss her driveway. It promises to be an invigorating get-together!
Women’s Fellowship invites you to celebrate Christmas in July!
Join Women’s Fellowship with Christmas in July and help collect gifts for our local convalescent hospitals. The Christmas Collection Box will be in the church lobby for you to add an unwrapped present. Ideas for gifts are lap robes, sweaters, shawls, slippers, socks, perfume or after shave, nice soaps and lotions, body powder, greeting cards and stamps, candy, cookies or anything that would make the residents days a little brighter. Cash donations are also accepted and Women’s Fellowship will shop for the gifts. No need to hunt for your Christmas wrapping paper, just drop off your unwrapped gift and Women’s Fellowship will do the rest. For more information please contact Barbara Wilson, Chairperson.
